K-Town

Last night the Disney Fam drove up to Kaysville to play with Mariah. Since she's only going to be in the States for a couple more months, its necessary to play with her as much as possible. That and she's just so much fun! The plan was to go to Cici's pizza (the best pizza buffet) but sadly reports that it was open in Layton were WRONG. *sigh*

We had time for some shopping at Old Navy--I got a new winter coat that is exceptionally cute (a must-buy from the minute I put it on), a sweater and a pull-over. Dinner was at Chili's and our poor server was NOT having a good night. We were pretty laid back though, so it wasn't a big deal. Plus, Greg got a free dinner out of the whole affair and who's going to complain about that?

The night ended with the Power Rangers movie. Oh. My. Gosh. Such a bad film, but so hilarious! If you didn't grow up watching Power Rangers there would be absolutely no redeeming value for this film--even then the redeeming value is really really really...questionable. As one who grew up watching Kimberly and Tommy and the other Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, it was fantastic in some bizarre and probably unhealthy way. I laughed my head off through most of it. As Keith pointed out, you know its bad when even the fight scenes are terrible. True enough.

Anyway, it was a delightful evening with some truly wonderful people. My favorites, really. Love me some Disney family.
